Smartphone Trivia

Players access a web page on their smartphone or tablet which allows them (or a group of friends) to participate.

The host reads the questions over a PA system (can also be displayed on a TV if available, although not required).

Questions are asked in rounds, with breaks in between. This provides opportunity to promote any specials, etc.

Speed is the key.  Teams are given 30 seconds to input their answers. There’s no time to cheat and the faster you answer, the more points you get.

Answers are submitted on the players device screen, either by tapping a button corresponding to the answer, or typing it in.

Answers are revealed immediately after each question.

Scoring is automatically calculated on the host’s laptop and the leaderboard is accessible after each round (can also be displayed on a TV if available, although not required).

No paper is used – nothing to hand in, means no contact and better for the environment!

Teams socialize, drink, eat, debate answers, laugh, brag, and enjoy banter with other teams.
